Red face

I'm almost in tears because I really needed the money. I was parting (or trying to part) with my precious white-bodied Kirsten. She had 1986 clothes, and was in really good shape.
You guys may have seen it. The girl in front of the black and white gingham.
Was it because her back was slightly whiter than her front? I was just trying to get out a few spots with a bleach pen. Not such a good idea.
I'm so bummed, but
Give it to me straight.

Do you have a number for the auction? I am assuming the auction has ended.

I would suggest adding American Girl Doll to your auction title. White Bodied Kirsten is not enough for collectors to search on. Shes pretty and in good condition. If you relist her with more keywords in the title Im sure you'll do better.

I agree with Nann about the title. That's the only thing that I saw that might have kept the price down. Pics are good, good description, you list the shipping price, etc. So I think if you work on the title that will help.

I would have bid more than that on it if I had seen it, but I usually just search "American Girl" "Pleasant Company" or "Pleasant co" Since none of those words were in your title, I think a lot of people just didn't find it.

Oh, I should have thought of that!
I appreciate the input.
The auction # was 5576409024, BTW
Guess I'll relist.

I think that's probably the main reason. Keywords in title are so important. I think a lot of collectors didn't even see your auction. You did the right thing for setting a reserve, otherwise the winning bidder could have got a really nice deal. Make sure you add the following keyword in title:
Pleasant Co American Girl Doll Kirsten Pre-mattel

This will draw a lot of attention. Best of luck!

Good luck when you re-list. I think you will do much better next time.
